경희대학교 평화복지대학원은 안양여자고등학교와 함께 제1회 『Eco-Peace 리더십 Camp@광릉』을 2025년 12월 22일(월)부터 23일(화)까지 성공적으로 운영하였다. 본 캠프는 생태 위기에 대한 인식 전환을 바탕으로 지속가능한 평화리더십을 함양하고, 자연 속 성찰과 체험 중심의 교육을 통해 학생들의 공동체적 감수성과 평화적 문제해결 역량을 기르기 위해 기획되었다. ［주요 프로그램］ 1일차에는 개회식 및 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 「국제 개발 협력과 평화」를 주제로 한 기조강연과 영화 「수라 」감상 및 황윤 감독과의 대화가 진행되었다. 이를 통해 학생들은 환경 파괴와 생태 위기를 현실의 문제로 인식하고, 개인과 사회의 책임에 대해 깊이 성찰하는 시간을 가졌다. 2일차에는 「기후와 생물다양성의 위기 앞에 전환을 할 수 있을까?」라는 주제의 강연과 함께 국립수목원 해설사와 동행한 광릉숲 탐방 프로그램이 운영되었다. 이후 「평화와 생태위기」를 주제로 한 강연 및 조별 토론을 통해 생태 문제를 평화의 관점에서 바라보고 실천적 대안을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다. ［교육 성과］ 학생들은 강연, 영화, 현장 체험, 토론이 유기적으로 연계된 프로그램을 통해 생태와 평화를 추상적 개념이 아닌 ‘현재 우리가 마주한 과제’로 인식하게 되었으며, 특히 광릉숲 탐방과 조별 토론을 통해 생태 위기 대응에 있어 개인과 공동체의 역할을 고민하는 계기가 되었다는 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 경희대학교 평화복지대학원은 앞으로도 생태·평화·지속가능성을 핵심 가치로 한 체험형 평화교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
